It's easy to remember: every year on October 3rd, the Day of German Unity, we invite you to the Schweiger Forest Run in Anzing near Munich. The forest run is organized by LG Sempt. In 2026, the 44th edition of this traditional race through the Anzinger Forest will take place, which will also host the Upper Bavarian Championships in the 10 km road race. The Schweiger Forest Run offers a running event for the whole family and has been nurturing the beautiful tradition of the forest run since 1983.
Highlights
- The course is officially measured and approved by the BLV, with each kilometer marked.
- There is a hydration station at kilometer 5.3 with electrolytes and water.
- Prizes will be awarded to the fastest three men and women, as well as a bonus of 100 euros for a new course record.
